If you have been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or low for a period of time and it is affecting your relationships, your work, or your sense of yourself, therapy may be a helpful next step. You do not need to be in crisis to reach out. Many people come to therapy simply because something feels off and they want support figuring out what that is. If you are unsure, a free 15-minute consultation call is a good place to start.

I am an out of network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. Many clients are able to submit a superbill (a detailed receipt that is provided on a monthly basis) to their insurance company for partial or total reimbursement. I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking about your out of network mental health benefits before we begin working together.
-
A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes the diagnostic and billing codes insurance companies require to process out of network claims. Superbills are available to you monthly, which you can submit directly to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary depending on your plan and deductible.

My session fee is $225 per session for individuals and $250 for couples. These are the fees for initial intake appointments, regular therapy sessions, and both in-person and telehealth services.

A small number of reduced-fee spots are available on a time-limited basis for clients who are unable to afford the full fee. These spots are limited and availability varies. If cost is a barrier, I encourage you to reach out. We can talk through what's possible, and if I'm not able to offer a reduced fee at the time you contact me, I'm happy to help connect you to other resources.

My practice is primarily focused on women, and most of the content on this site reflects that. That said, I do work with adult men navigating anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. If you're wondering whether we'd be a good fit, feel free to reach out.

Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for anyone considering therapy. This is a chance to ask questions, share what you are looking for, and get a sense of whether we might be a good fit before scheduling a full session.

I offer in-person sessions in Alexandria, Virginia and telehealth sessions for clients located anywhere in Virginia or Florida. Both in-person and telehealth sessions are the same rate.

I require 24-hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24-hours notice are charged the full session fee. This policy allows me to offer that time to other clients who may be waiting.

The first step is reaching out through the contact form or scheduling a free 15 minute consultation call. From there we will find a time that works and get your first appointment on the calendar.
